Made by Sphyx and Nooarth for the GMTK Game Jam 2025, around the theme "Loop".

As the YouTsune Algorithm™, your goal is to keep your viewers in the loop by delivering them personalized videos. Dodge bullets, navigate through menus and manage your time!

=== HOW TO PLAY? ===

• Move with your mouse.

• On the left of the main screen are your viewers. Deliver them a video and as they watch, you will earn SP (Satisfaction Points).

• More SP = More Viewers = Even More SP (You also get to spend SP to unlock new video categories)

• If you keep the viewers waiting after they finish a video, you will start losing SP instead. If you run out of SP, it's game over.

• There are different categories of videos. Each viewer has 3 different categories they prefer. You can check a viewer's watching history, and then note down the categories they like.

• Viewers will give 2x SP for videos of categories they like. 

• You can click the bell on the top right... uhmm anyway,

• To deliver a video, you must first choose between 3 options. Then, you must go through a bullet hell section.

• During a bullet hell section, taking damage reduces the video's duration. If it hits 0, the delivery will be failed and you will have to choose again. Try not to take damage!

TIP: The balancing is a bit off, and you can end up getting viewers too quickly. If so, you may choose to not engage with beyond a certain number of (~4) viewers. You won't get any penalties if you never deliver someone a video.

NOTE: There's a glitch where the duration of a video will stay shortened in future selections if you took damage. This is unintentional, but as long as you do your best to avoid damage, it should play fine.
